I just switched from Aperture and Photos and am very impressed.

With the Apple products, they take care of cataloging and filing the images.

I have looked at tutorials for Affinity and unless I am missing something do not see how it works.

Since I am starting new, would appreciate any suggestions.

Right now, i am separating the exported files and the work files in different folders.

Just trying to save myself from a mess in the future.

Thanks,

Hi Cobraboy1997,

Welcome to Affinity Forums :)

Affinity Photo is not a digital assets management (DAM) software like Aperture or Apple Photos, so It doesn't manage libraries/catalogs. It's a RAW converter/developer and photo editing application comparable to Photoshop. We already announced our DAM solution for later which will work seamlessly with Affinity Photo.
