oryma
Hey Guys, I have the following problem. I am using Affinity Photo on my Macbook while my Girlfriend is using it on her Ipad. After exporting the PSD's from her Ipad and importing it on Affinity on my Mac Book Pro, all the text layers become rasterized and I am not able to change them anymore. Do we do something wrong or is this feature not available? Funny thing is, If I export the PSD and she imports in on her Ipad, everything works fine. Thx for your help
GarryP
Welcome to the forums @oryma Is there some reason why you are exporting/importing PSDs rather than just opening the same Affinity documents on both devices? I was under the impression that the Affinity documents were usable across the different platforms.
Staff Dan C Posted August 2, 2022 Staff Share Posted August 2, 2022 Hi @oryma, Welcome to the Affinity Forums Please open Affinity Photo on Mac and then navigate to Affinity Photo > Preferences > General - here you should see the option 'Import PSD text as text rather than bitmap', please ensure this option is enabled. However, as Garry has mentioned above, if you are transferring files between Affinity apps, you should use the Affinity .afphoto format for the best compatibility. Quote Please note - I am currently out of the office for a short while whilst recovering from surgery (nothing serious!), therefore will not be available on the Forums during this time. Should you require a response from the team in a thread I have previously replied in - please Create a New Thread and our team will be sure to reply as soon as possible. Many thanks!
