Recommended Posts

Hi.

When I try to to send photo from Files to Affiniti Photo I see AP icon on the Share sheet.

But when I try to do the same from Photos app there is no AP icon present. Simply - it is not possible to send photo from Photos to AP.

Looks like you have created an IOS Shortcut to open in Affinity Photo, highlighted on your image, does that option not work?

1. arw file from rx10m4

Looks like it tries to create a doc out of a RAW file immediately here when using the clipboard, so it won't pass it instead over to open that in the develop persona.

Camera raw images can also be opened, which are launched initially for raw development in a unique Develop Persona for processing, but must be saved as a document to a new fixed location as they have to be processed.

AddImport from iCloudImport from PhotosImport from Camera To import an image or document (by copying):
    1. From Affinity Photo's Home screen, tap the plus icon.
    2. Select one of:
      • Import From Cloud—accesses your local or cloud storage.
      • Import From Photos—accesses your Apple Photos library.
      • Import From Camera—captures and opens a photo with your iPad device. You can shoot RAW, bracketed HDR, toggle face detection and display on-screen aids such as a histogram and vectorscope.

For the first two options, navigate to and tap the file you want to open. For the last option, the photo you've taken using the iPad camera will load automatically into Affinity Photo.
