Kamryn Varlack
My dad bought me Affinity Designer for my old laptop, windows 10, about a year or two ago. I just registered it recently, hoping to switch it over to my new laptop, but no product key is visible, only the registered app and device. If your dad bought it from the Affinity Store, it would be under his account there, using his email address. Also, under the terms of the License Agreement, it can only be used on a computer he owns or controls. Similarly, if he bought it from the Microsoft Store, it would be under his Microsoft Store account, based on his Windows ID. Komatös
Do you still have access to the old laptop? Then you could open the Windows Store app to see if Affinity Designer appears in your library. I already had before checking the forum. 3 hours ago, walt.farrell said: If your dad bought it from the Affinity Store, it would be under his account there, using his email address. I don't know if he ever made an account, as he did purchase it specifically for me, but I suppose there's not much that can be done. Thanks, anyway!
