jonathanm0
Hi everyone, I am a new Affinity Photo user. I have the software on both OS X and Windows 10. I am encountering issues while using the paint brush on a new layer. I have attached a gif of the behaviour in question, and a screenshot of my settings (which are default). I am using a Wacom Cintiq 24". Whenever I try to paint, I get this weird boundary/clipping effect. I am not sure what is going on or how to fix it. I am grateful to any suggestions you may have. Thank you.

I can send a private upload link if you prefer. I left an example layer in the file for you to see. This happens in any new blank file for me. Thank you very much. Old Bruce
It looks like you are using the Hue Replacement colour tool. Use the regular brush. jonathanm0 1 Quote Mac Pro (Late 2013) Mac OS 12.7.2 Affinity Designer 2.3.1 | Affinity Photo 2.3.1 | Affinity Publisher 2.3.1 | Beta versions as they appear. What a blunder. I was using the hotkey and must have been completely oblivious to the other options. Thank you very much @Old Bruce. It works as I expect now
