ericosmosNEW
I want to apply threshold on BW lineart for sharp and crisp lines without greytones in Affinity Photo for iPad. The adjustment works as expected, however, when I merge the threshold adjustment layer with the affected layer beneath the adjustment is gone. Anyone any idea why that is? Staff Callum Posted July 19, 2022 Staff Share Posted July 19, 2022 The adjustment layer will no longer show in the layers tab as it will have been merged into its parent layer. If this isn't what you mean please could you provide a screen recording demonstrating the issue? Thanks C Quote Please tag me using @ in your reply so I can be sure to respond ASAP. ericosmosNEW
Thanks for your reply. Of course the layer is gone when merged 😉. I was saying that the adjustment itself (not the adjustment layer) on the affected layer is gone. Threshold gets rid of feathered lines. When merged the feathering is back. But I found out why. Even though the layer was a pic it still has to be rasterized again for the adjustment to remain effective when merged.
