Hi @bila

Are you referring to the text located at the centre and bottom right hand corner of the document? When I’ve opened this on both Desktop and iPad the text edibility has been preserved. I’ve PM’d you a copy of the .afphoto file for comparison.

There are some Illustrator smart objects which Photo hasn’t been able to interpret and as such have just been imported as pixel layers even with the preference for this ticked.

I opened the .PSD file on iPad from files after ensuring that 'Import PSD as Text' and 'Import PSD smart objects where possible' was enabled under Preferences > General. So long as your app is up to date (1.10.5) and you have these options enabled as far as i'm aware this should work.

Thanks for sending over the file, after opening your .PSD in Affinity Photo I did not encounter this issue with the image being clipped outside of the rectangle, the image was correctly clipped as a child layer of the rectangle on both Desktop and iPad. I've privately messaged you a version of this file as an .afphoto in case this issue is localised to you.

There were several issues that were highlighted upon importing the file on desktop as not all layers properties of .PSD files can be imported into Photo such as vector warp. As such I did find that the ellipse was no longer warped as it was in Photoshop. In the future you may find that the .PSD file does not appear identical to how it was created in Photoshop with some layers being rasterised or transformed.

Also, if you haven't already it would be beneficial to enable 'Import PSD smart objects where available' within Photo's preferences.

For future reference, this can be done via the Document menu and then selecting 'Save a Copy' and then specifying the save location. 🙂
