pomme27
I am using Affinity Designer 1.4 on an iMac with OS X 10.11.2. It's the first time that I've used Affinity Designer since the update on 9 December. When I use Expert Persona, view the Slices tab and click on Export Selected, the application crashes. I've tried this on about 10 of my .afdesign files, and the application crashes on all of them. Attached is one of the crash logs copied from Console. Any idea what I am doing wrong? pomme27
More ... When I am in Draw Persona and do File > Export > PNG > Export > Save, the application also crashes (though not consistently). So maybe problem relates to creation of PNG files ??? barninga
did you try the 1.4.1 beta release? it fixes some crash problems, though not explicitly related to png files. in addition, you could try trashing co.serif.* files found in Library/Preferences under your home folder. hth stefano Quote take care, stefano
pomme27
Thanks baringa. I trashed the com.serif* files, then tried again to export PNG files. It worked on the first .afdesign document that I opened, but then crashed again on the second and subsequent documents. I though I might have a work-around by trashing the com.serif* files after each export, but surprisingly (to me, at least) Affinity Designer did not re-create the com.serif* files. There are no longer any com.serif* files in my ~/Library/Preferences folder. I also downloaded the beta, and it crashes too when exporting PNG files. And it also does not re-create the com.serif* files. Other thoughts welcome. Thanks again.
