Hi all

I hope this question can be done here. I have this file that is a strong green when I see it in windows explorer, but much less strong green when I open it in affinity. Is there any way to know what is the correct colour?

Quite often this is caused by an RGB image being Placed into a CMYK document.

Mac Pro (Late 2013) Mac OS 12.7.6
Affinity Designer 2.6.0 | Affinity Photo 2.6.0 | Affinity Publisher 2.6.0 | Beta versions as they appear.

I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.

Hi @NunoF,

This may occur due to the colour profile being used in the Affinity document, or the colour space as Bruce has mentioned above.

Another cause can be a custom ICC profile applied to your monitor through Windows.

Are you able to provide a copy of the file here so we can investigate further, and can you confirm if you have a custom colour profile set for your monitor?

Many thanks in advance!
