Index - how to indent wrapping lines?

I'm working on an index.  Let's say I have an index line for "Restaurants" which is followed by 16 pages numbers which need to wrap into more lines since the line is wider than the column.  I want the first line to be justified left and any wrapping lines to be indented a little bit to set them off.  How do I get the second and subsequent lines to indent?

Look at the automatically generated Index styles. If I understood you correctly, you should be able to achieve your goal by editing the paragraph spacing of the Index Entry style so that it specifies Left Indent value for general indent of the paragraph, and then uses First Indent value that is smaller (e.g. 0, if you want to have entries aligned with the left margin, as below):
