(Updated) Node tool bug? {View Windows} seem to bug point placement/edit

I have no idea what even happened, but it's resolved. I had trouble placing points with pen tool with snapping off. Pixel snapping disabled. I could not get the point to place no matter what I tried. I zoom out though while recording and just place points far outside the intended range and it "fixes" itself. A bit stumped here. I believe I have figured out a method to reproduce: I've created an .adesign file to make it easier to work with (220704_dialogue-box-pattern-crown.afdesign) Steps to reproduce: 1. Close & Restart if open 2. Open document, select node tool. The main window is at 2440ish% zoom... 3.
