Jim Slade
Here is an odd example where Affinity fails to find a Panorama but Photoshop does. Usually, it's the other way around.
GarryP
Looks like a pretty reasonable 'stitch-together' to me (on Windows), given the quality of the originals – see attached image – or have I missed something important?
Staff stokerg Posted July 8, 2022 Staff Share Posted July 8, 2022 Hi @Jim Slade, I'm getting the same results as @GarryPwhen i stitch those 2 images together on my Mac. So i can't see a problem here. Can you provide a completed stitch from Photoshop and one from Affinity, so we can see the differences?
Jim Slade
I am getting a no panorama found message when I click "Stitch Panorama." Hmmm. This is my Photoshop version. I do thousands of these and it is extremely rare for Affinity to fail and Photoshop to succeed. It is extremely common for Photoshop to fail and Affinity to succeed. Plus the output from Photoshop is not nearly as good. Sounds like something funny may be going on with my sustem if you folks can do it. PaulEC
FWIW - They stitch perfectly for me with APhoto (on Windows). But the stitching fails with Microsoft ICE and with Scan-n-Stitch! carl123
Works fine on Windows 11 Are you using the latest version of APhoto? Jim Slade
Here's another one that works with Photoshop but not with Affinity Photo. Almost always it's the other way around but in this case .......
