j3rry
Do I have to log off my Affinity Photo on the old computer (imac intel) if I want to install it on a new computer (imac M1)? Staff Lee_T Posted July 7, 2022 Staff Share Posted July 7, 2022 Hi J3rry, Not at all, you may install and use the software on any Macs as you own, as per the licensing conditions. Lee j3rry

If you are keeping the old Mac you don't have to delete the copy of Photo but it you are selling it or giving it to someone you should. As per the licensing conditions. j3rry 1 Quote Mac Pro (Late 2013) Mac OS 12.7.4 Affinity Designer 2.4.1 | Affinity Photo 2.4.1 | Affinity Publisher 2.4.1 | Beta versions as they appear. walt.farrell
However, if you're replacing your Mac with a new one, it might be good to sign-out from My Account in the app. That will remove the app & machine from the list of registered apps in your Affinity Store account. If you don't sign-out the old machine will remain in that list forever, I think. That won't hurt anything, or have any effect, but it bothers some users.
