I've been using my laptop to quickly edit some RAW files without the necessity to transfer them on to my PC workstation. As the photos have a vast dynamic range in terms of lighting, i wanted to use the tool to differ the exposure values in some parts of the images. Everythin seems fine until the overlay starts to take more than approximately 1/10th of the image. The brush works good, but the eraser suddenly starts to show huge spacing. Apart from this, it doesn't work with simple clicks - the erasing starts to take place only after I drag and it is awfully spaced, so instead of a smooth line I get a saw-like pattern which is unacceptable. I've tried to simply predict where the erasing is going to happen but it is nearly impossible. Might it be due to the fact that the laptop is a bit old (although it runs perfectly smooth with Affinity products and other power-needy software) and runs on Windows 8.1?

Hi @Tomasz Florczuk,

Welcome to the Affinity Forums :)

Sorry to hear you're having trouble! I can confirm this was a known issue in a previous version of Affinity Photo - however as I understand it this has since been patched.

Can you please navigate to Help > About from within the app and let me know the version number that shows?

Many thanks in advance!
