Command line support for multi-image operations (stack, merge, panorama stitch)

Recommended Posts

Ability to pass multiple images to Photo from the command line with the operation to perform

For example:

Affinity/Photo --hdr <img1> <img2> ...
Affinity/Photo --focus <img1> <img2> ...
Affinity/Photo --stack <img1> <img2> ...
Affinity/Photo --panorama <img1> <img2> ...

I love Affinity products but this is a big usability issue that should be solved. I'm now forced to look for alternative software to make the workflow usable for large amount of photos.

Please add support for those command line arguments.

For example DAM application? APhoto isn't DAM.

I already use software to manage and edit photos (currently it's Exposure X6). I'm looking for a way to merge photos directly from Exposure by right clicking on the photo and selecting Edit In..

Currently it's not possible with Affinity Photo. You have memorize the photo's filename, then open APhoto, then select New HDR Merge, then click Add, then browse and look for those files you want to merge. It becomes quite painful when you have lot's of photos to edit and merge.

Why not? For example
