ahnay Posted July 5, 2022 Posted July 5, 2022 thats it. In gimp you just select the path, and then add a new layer and stroke the path on that new layer. But i cant seem to find anything like that in design. thanks Quote

I would think i could make it transparent? with a slider, but i dont see that. Thank you for your fast answer. oh oh, i found the slider for the image, lol. Thank you! Quote

I actually cant figure out how to stroke it at all in designer. Ive searched online for tutorials, and its all mostly for photo, which sux, or its all for text or shapes. Can you point me to just the very basic stroke use, and not the help, as it just shows what each thing, points etc do, not actually how to use it. No matter what i do i cant get a stroke around this image. I just dont understand how something so simple is so complicated in design? thank you Quote

The outline works, but when you make the image transparent the outline vanishes too.. it also has rounded corners instead of the square corners i selected in the stroke panel? I thought all you needed to do was set the stroke on, and it would stroke it, but nothing happens at all. ??? so confused. Quote

I make a new Designer Document and place the image in it and use the stroke panel to set the stroke.
