Settings for panels and User Interface

Hello dear all,

i am a german Newbie in Affinity Designer for ipad and i have problems to see the tools well. The User Interface is black and the Tools are nearly dark-grey and very small. My question: where can i change the colour of the panels from black to pale grey? I searched, but didn`t find a possibility 😪

I have a screenshot, so you can better see what i mean - the black parts around.

I hope, you can help me!

Hi @Anne de Vries Welcome to the forums.

The iPad version of the Affinity apps don't have an option to change the UI from dark to light, sorry.

I’ve found the only way to see the menus is to turn brightness up high. Downside is sore eyes☹️.
Why Serif/Affinity don’t change from the current grey on black to a white on black is beyond understanding. So many users having reported this issue since the apps initial release and still no fix.

Same here, I have changed them on my MacBook, I can’t see the tools properly on my iPad and the black is freaking me out big time. 
Affinity, please enable the UI to be changed to light on the iPad apps. I’ve paid for something I can’t use, very disappointing.
The reasoning given is it helps view colours better. No, it gives me a headache and it should be optional.
