LenKagelmacher Posted July 4, 2022 Posted July 4, 2022 Hi, I recently imported an Indesign idml package into Publisher. Everything seems to have come over fine, except that a font for the Justus typeface that was Roman font in Indesign was brought in as Versalitas in Publisher. This was done throughout the manuscript. Is there a way to do a global typeface/font search and replace in Publisher? ...Or, am I stuck with manually searching the document for all Justus/Versalitas fonts and changing them to Justus/Roman? Thank you, Len Quote
Old Bruce Posted July 4, 2022 Posted July 4, 2022 As long as you have both fonts just do a Search for Format > and search for the Font > The One You Don't Want. And set the replace to The One You Do Want. Have everything set to the default [No Change] except the font name. You need to click on the little Cog Wheel in the upper Right of the Find and Replace panel. LenKagelmacher Posted July 4, 2022 Author Posted July 4, 2022 Thank you, Bruce. I'm likely doing this wrong, but I can't seem to find the format in Find and Replace (...actually any - I tried several). I get "No results found" in the search, although I know that the Versalitas font (which was originally Roman in Indesign) is throughout the document. Both Versalitas and Roman fonts for the Justus family exist in Publisher. Any thoughts? Quote
LenKagelmacher Posted July 4, 2022 Author Posted July 4, 2022 Nevermind... I figured it out. This worked perfectly!! Thanks so much, Bruce! Old Bruce 1 Quote
Old Bruce Posted July 5, 2022 Posted July 5, 2022 I should have made it clearer that Format will open a dialog window where we can choose what we need.
