tommyzai
Hi! I have several design templates that are in both .eps and .ai form, and I wonder if one of these formats is preferred for importing into Affinity. Advantages? Disadvantages? Thank you!! Staff Callum Posted December 29, 2015 Staff Share Posted December 29, 2015 Hi Tommyzai, Welcome to the Forums :) Both file types will retain similar amounts of editability so it is really up to you in terms of which one you use. Dave Harris
PDF is a richer format so will usually be better. It can support transparency and blend modes, for example, which EPS. Also, currently our EPS import converts text into curves, so they aren't editable as text.
