Hi

Is there any easy way to automatically resize the frame (I think this is the correct name) to the text inside? I add a photo for better understanding. Basically when I select the text I get the blue square around the text that allows me to alter the text position, size etc.

The problem is that I have a bunch of different layers with text that I would like to align but because the frame is not "fit" with the text, the auto align tool does not align the text properly. You can see the first text...the C is not aligned with the rest.

I tried a lot of things to sort this out before posting this...but not not find a way to do it...

Answering my own question, I think I got it...by accident. So I aligned all text to the left (stupid me had some of them centered) and then instead of simply selecting the frame and trying to resize the frame with the mouse, I selected the transform W/H boxes and then scrolled with middle button until all text was inside the frame. I have no idea if there is a better way but this one seems to work!

You can also double-click the middle handle on the text box to shrink it to fit the text:

If you hold CMD (on Mac, I think Ctrl on Windows) then the text box will shrink to the correct size, but will remain centred (vertically or horizontally as the case may be).

No.
