tomek_Q
What I really would like in AP is a very useful feature in competitor's interface: Color coding of master pages which lets you see in a glance which master page was applied to pages. This shows up in pages panel.
thomaso
There are some related topics in Publisher's Feature Request Forum which contain this and other improvements for the pages panel. You might want to add your vote there and bump them up this way, for instance: Wosven 1 Quote macOS 10.14.6 | MacBookPro Retina 15" | Eizo 27" | Affinity V1

Old Bruce
Regarding abbreviations, I try to use Affinity Photo and Affinity Publisher and Affinity Designer. Clarity for the reader over convenience for the writer. My family motto is Eschew Obfuscation. Alfred 1 Quote Mac Pro (Late 2013) Mac OS 12.7.4 Affinity Designer 2.4.1 | Affinity Photo 2.4.1 | Affinity Publisher 2.4.1 | Beta versions as they appear. I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.

On a Mac, you can make this easier to do using the System Preferences > Keyboard > Text tab replace with function, so for example you can replace "Affinity Designer" with an exclamation point & "AD," so when you type that 3 character sequence, it will automatically be explanded into "Affinity Designer."
