Affinity Designer name in GeForce Experience

Recommended Posts

Hi. This issue might not be super important but kind of annoying. As we can see, the name for Affinity Designer is somehow shown as "REFINED MEGA GREAT CRAB" in my GeForce Experience app. There no issue with Affinity Photo.

Anyone experience same issue? Can anyone guide me how to rename it?

Hi @Kray Edzwan welcome to the forums,

I found that after my initial setup and scan for games in Experience Designer's Application name was 'Refined Mega Great Crab' for about 3 seconds before it changed over to Affinity Designer.

From researching this it appears that Experience is giving some scanned Applications odd names for some unknown reason, another user found that Adobe Bridge was named 'Peculiar Ultra Humongous Cuckoo'. Perhaps this happens when the app not able to collect the program name.

Re-scanning for games might fix this from the top right corner ellipsis on the Games & Apps home screen. This issue has been raised previously on the Nvidia Forums:
