Error when exporting as pdf for pro print

Recommended Posts

I am getting an error when trying to export a document as a pdf for commercial printing.  I tried it when I had just one page and it was OK.  Now I have 36 pages and it will not work.  Comes up with a pathway error and I cannot find where to try and save it on my PC now.  Have not had this happen before and I need a standard PDF to send to the editor tomorrow and then a PDF for pro print to send to printers on Monday.  The error window gives not give any indication about how to remedy this. I would be really grateful for some assistance with this.  I have had an extremely hard learning curve getting used to this after Page Plus 8 and am having to work at the same time as learning.

It would help a lot if you explained what specific error message you are getting. A screenshot of the message would be ideal.

I have attached a screen shot of error message.  After hunting in all the files I found it had achieved one saved pdf but the 36 pages had been saved separately so there are 36 separate pdf files.  No use to me at all.  There must be one small box I have checked wrongly or omitted as I have successfully been exporting pdf files from Affinity for several years.

I am not entirely certain but I think the problem may be with the OneDrive in the file path.

I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.
