Alan Preece Posted June 16, 2022 Posted June 16, 2022 Hi All Many years ago I created a custom palette in inkscape where when my mouse hovered over a colour, a label would appear. ie a number or letter. This was a GPL file which was copied into the inkscapes directory. I am now using Affinity but need to recreate this project. Is their a way of doing this? I appreciate I can create a swatch from a document and make it an application file but it is the labels that are bugging me. Many thanks Alan Quote
Dan C Posted June 16, 2022 Posted June 16, 2022 Hi @Alan Preece, When hovering over the palette in the Swatches Studio, the name provided to the palette will show - Is this what you're looking for? Quote
thomaso Posted June 16, 2022 Posted June 16, 2022 The Affinity interface has this feature build-in: holding the cursor (any) over a colour swatch in the Swatches Panel will make the label pop up. It displays the name of the swatch which you can edit via right-click on the swatch. Maybe you need to shorten the pop-up delay.
