Staff Callum Posted June 15, 2022 Staff Share Posted June 15, 2022 Hi Josie, This should be covered by previous posts you have made on the forums it should be no different to drawing a cupcake cat or donut etc. Why don't you show us how far you get when you try and we'll advise from there? Thanks C Alfred 1 Quote Please tag me using @ in your reply so I can be sure to respond ASAP.
Josie
This is how far I’ve gotten, but don’t know how to do the fingers

The curve for the thumb needs to be open, but the curves for the little finger and the ring finger can be closed if you find them easier to draw that way. Staff Callum Posted June 15, 2022 Staff Share Posted June 15, 2022 Hi Josie, You should just need to draw two more curves in the shape of a Capital J as shown in my attached screenshot below. I have made each curve a different colour so you can see how this has been done. C Quote Please tag me using @ in your reply so I can be sure to respond ASAP. You can use the methods you have learned here and in previous threads to draw almost any shape / object It just might take some planning out and clever thinking. Josie
One more question how do I make this peach girl look like she is standing in high heels or walking in high heels? This is what I have so far.

Josie
I want to make it look like she is actually doing something instead of just standing there.
Alfred
She’s standing on one leg. That’s “doing something”, isn’t it? Looks fine to me. Alfred
Looking good, Josie, although you might want to add a little shading or a gradient fill to the heart/peach so it isn’t quite so flat. And I would be inclined to make the text all caps, or all caps and lower case, instead of the current mixture of the two. You might also want to resize the hands: the “peace sign” hand is currently much bigger than the other one. Josie
So how would I add shading to the peach?
Alfred
1 hour ago, Josie said: So how would I add shading to the peach? The same way as you would add shading to anything else! Either apply a gradient fill varying from the original colour to a darker shade (i.e. decreased luminance/lightness via the HSL controls) or position a semitransparent black shape on top wherever you want the shading to be. Josie
Could you show me how to do that so I know what you are talking about exactly? I watched YouTube videos on how to do it and got confused. Thanks

I'm sure that shading has been answered in one of your other topics, Josie. Maybe even two of them. The same techniques should work here.
