Hwayke Posted June 15, 2022 Posted June 15, 2022 I have a problem with the selection flood tool. Normally you can see the marching ants on the picture when you select an area. This is not the case. It fills the chosen area with the selected color. So it is filling the selected area with a color. The other selection methods is working as expected. Around the selection the marching ants can be seen. What I am doing wrong? Or do I have o change a setting? Or is it a bug? I am using version 1.10.5 with the latest Mac OS. Quote
GarryP Posted June 15, 2022 Posted June 15, 2022 Welcome to the forums @Hwayke If I remember correctly, the ‘marching ants’ will only appear around pixels which have an opacity of more then 50%, even if something has actually been selected. Could that be a symptom of, or explain, what you are seeing, or not seeing? Quote
PaulEC Posted June 15, 2022 Posted June 15, 2022 Are you sure you are using the "Flood Select Tool", not the "Flood Fill Tool"? Hwayke Posted June 15, 2022 Author Posted June 15, 2022 You are right, I selected the wrong symbol. Thanks for your help. I do not know why I chose the flood fill tool instead. Quote
