jammyness
Hi, I use Clip Studio to create files and Affinity Publisher to put the final files together. Native support for layered CSP would be an incredible feature that would bring in a lot of people from the comics community. CSP is very popular among cartoonists/comic creators but their lettering tools are known to be lacking compared to other softwares. Right now I have to export the CSP files as raster images or PSD images, which is a less than ideal. In raster, I have to completely re-do all the lettering on its own layer to get a pure "vector black", which is a bit of a pain. If I export to PSD, there can be some layer conversion wonkiness, I'm duplicating high res files, and I can't make fluid changes in CSP to the root files. If I could take the native CSP file and have access to both the lettering I've put into the file (to do final font adjustments/kerning) AND the vector balloons that would save a TON of time, especially on longer projects. Some communication between CSP's "story" features and Affinity Designer would be a killer feature for me. (multi-page files). Another thing that really interests me is more options for booklet printing. Right now you can do n-up printing and the tools here are *amazing* but if there was an easy way to organize quarter-page booklet printing without manually doing the page-order math that would be sweet. Tools to create an 8-page "foldy" would also be incredible and not something I've found anywhere else. These features would attract a lot of cartoonists to the suite. Thanks for reading. If you mean Feedback for Affinity Publisher on Desktop (as it feels more like a request than a question or a bug report) then yes, a Moderator can do that.
