jatclat Posted June 14, 2022 Posted June 14, 2022 I use Affinity Photo on a PC (HP Elite 800, 5 years old) for most things and a laptop (HP Pavilion) for minor adjustments. The laptop has Version 1.9.2.1035; I haven’t updated since. Task Manager tells me it uses 383 MB. I have the most up to date version on the PC. Currently it’s using 514 MB. It became so slow as to be virtually unusable. I’ve just upgraded the RAM from 32 to 48 G, but it isn’t noticeably faster. I could uninstall it and reinstall an older version, but I’m writing to ask whether there is a better solution. Quote

jatclat Posted June 14, 2022 Author Posted June 14, 2022 Thanks for the suggestion but it has been switched on all along. Quote

Seems counterintuitive but the hardware acceleration on some computers causes this sort of problem. And many others. I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.
jatclat Posted June 14, 2022 Author Posted June 14, 2022 Oh thanks. Yes, this worked. Much appreciated. Quote
