Pen Pressure in Pixel Persona not working with Huion 1060 Tablet

Recommended Posts

Basically what the title says. I'm using a huion 1060 pen tablet and whenever I go into the pixel persona on Affinity Designer and press the force pressure button (as seen in the image)  my brush strokes aren't affected by how hard or soft I use my pen . I would really love some help fixing this. Thanks!image.png.4a3c445c79d1e4a4f91454bf24d38b4e.png

I used to work with a 1060 (PLUS, if my memory serves right). At least in Windows 10, the pressure sensitivity worked. But only with one specific setting. I can't remember, which one it was, but you need to match the settings (Windows Ink/low or high precision) in the tablet's driver as well as in the Affinity app's settings. Also, these reset every once in a blue moon in a non-reproducible manner, so you might have to check them again, if pen pressure stops working again.

Hi @Sona Kedu welcome to the forums,

I've just gone through this with a Q620M tablet and the pressure control within the pixel persona has worked as expected. This does require that you have 'Enable Windows ink' ticked in the digital pen settings in the HuionTablet app. Pressure control should then work with High/Low/Windows Ink on Tablet Input method in Designer Preferences.
