Msousa Posted June 11, 2022 Posted June 11, 2022 When I shoot with my D750 camera I save an image as a jpg and as Raw (NEF). The file size difference is huge jpg = 2.8Mb and NEF= 28Mb. If I need to edit the image, I want to edit the raw file. I can edit the file in the Imaging app that comes with windows 10 but its limited. The modified image looks fine in Affinity but stored as a jpg and pulled back up on my computer screen the image looks awful. Any help would be awesome. On a side note, Affinity Photo is an awesome program for the money, since they are a reasonable price, I purchased all of your products for windows and my Ipad pro. I have an older copy of Photo Shop but it cannot read the NEF raw files from my camera. Same with my old copy of Light room. I take a lot of pictures. You have everything in Affinity to create a separate program to compete with Light room. If and when it comes out I will be first in line to buy it. Now that Lightroom and Photoshop went to a subscription service I wouldn't be using them. Thanks Mike Sousa michael.a.sousa@gmail.com 215-850-1233 DSC_3720.NEF Quote
Msousa Posted June 11, 2022 Author Posted June 11, 2022 I just found my problem; Jpg quality was set to 10%. Set the quality to 100 works fine Old Bruce 1 Quote
Old Bruce Posted June 11, 2022 Posted June 11, 2022 I like it when someone will tell us how their problem was solved. Quote Mac Pro (Late 2013) Mac OS 12.7.6 Affinity Designer 2.6.0 | Affinity Photo 2.6.0 | Affinity Publisher 2.6.0 | Beta versions as they appear. I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.
