wackycomposer Posted June 7, 2022 Posted June 7, 2022 I've tried to select the page of a multi-page PDF to place in a document in Affinity Publisher. I have tried and tried, and cannot find any place to select the page of the PDF that I want. It always places just the first page. I've read that there is a context menu somewhere, but I cannot find it. Is this no longer an option in the current version of Affinity Publisher? Quote

As @walt.farrell mentioned, it is in the Context Toolbar. If that toolbar is not visible then open the View menu & make sure "Show Context Toolbar" is ticked. wackycomposer Posted June 7, 2022 Author Posted June 7, 2022 I have the Context toolbar showing, but it doesn't give me the option to select a page. What I'm doing is I make a frame using the Picture Frame Rectangle tool, and use the Replace Image button to place the PDF. I don't get an option to select the page of the PDF when I do that. Instead, I get this in the Context Toolbar: My guess is there is a better way to insert a PDF inside a frame? Quote
thomaso Posted June 7, 2022 Posted June 7, 2022 To get the wanted Page Selection displayed in the Context Toolbar you have to place the PDF first and select the PDF layer in the Layers panel (not its parent Picture Frame layer). Alternatively you can place a specific page or page area of the PDF via the main menu "Documents". But note, this will not place just 1 layer like an image or like the Place command but rather open the PDF with its separately available layers.
