How to select multiple curves in Affinity Designer

Hi, just curious is there something I'm missing here, I buy lots of graphics from Creative Market and every single person I've ever bought if they include a vector file will give an eps file which is basically a board of all the graphics, they won't be ever be in neat organised folders sadly so selecting them seems almost impossible to me, I try to draw a box around the curves using move tool in say example artwork one but it never selects everything inside the box.

Is there another way of doing this, when there's lots of curves for an artwork, I wish these sellers would organise them better but they never do so I'm left stumped on how to grab all the required curves vectors.

You are a lifesaver, I just selected largest handle size in preferences, not sure what having all these sizes is for but I just selected biggest and used ctrl and marque move tool and it finally selected everything, hope it will work on all files now but first 5 it did so thanks so much for your help.

That's (too much layers) often a common problem even Adobe software users are generally confronted with, see for example here ...
