ndyhzlwd
I have a trapezium shape that has been created from a Pepakura SVG file, where none of the shape's edges are on either a zero or 90 degree angle. Is it possible to rotate the shape so one of the edges is at an exact zero or 90 degree angle? I know it's possible to constrain a rotate using 'shift', but this doesn't help when the starting point for the rotation isn't at zero degrees. I've attached a s/shot for reference. Cheers, Andy
walt.farrell
Welcome to the Serif Affinity forums. Perhaps you could drag out a vertical or horizontal Guide as appropriate. Then enable Snapping with appropriate options, and use the Move Tool to rotate the object until it snaps to the Guide. prophet
Using the node tool, you could select the 2 corners and then check the rotation field in the Transform Panel. A little math will tell you how much to rotate the whole shape to get to the desire angle.
