Hi.

Affinity Photo crashes every time with these files from a scanner when I Save the tiff with Layers.

If I go through the export dialog, the file is broken but no crash.

Smaller Tiff files are no problem with Layers. Without Layers also no problem with the big Tiff files..

PSD or .afphoto no Crash or broken file with Layers.

Hi @Tim123

Welcome to the forum.

What's your workflow that requires you to save to .Tiff with Affinity layers as these files can only be reopened using Affinity due to how the layer information is stored. If you've intention is to open and edit again you'd be better saving in our native file format (.afphoto). If you are sending to someone, that doesn't have Affinity Photo, exporting to PSD may be the better option.

I would suspect the files made from the scanner. What format are they, and could you possibly post a small one here.

Mac Pro (Late 2013) Mac OS 12.7.6
Affinity Designer 2.6.0 | Affinity Photo 2.6.0 | Affinity Publisher 2.6.0 | Beta versions as they appear.

I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.
