kboone
Using Apple Photos to 'Edit in Affinity Photo' opens my RAW photo in Affinity and allows developing. However, saving the image and going back to Apple Photos and the image is very dark. Am I missing something in the 'Develop Assistant'? Using latest 1.10.5 on M1 Studio Mac. If it is set to "Take no action" try changing that to "Apply tone curve." Can you post an example of a RAW file you are having this problem with? From Apple Photos, you can use File > Export > Export Unmodified Original for 1 Photo... to create a stand alone copy of the RAW file. kboone
I just discovered what the problem was. I had the 'Development Assistant' raw output format set to RGB (32 bit HDR). The development adjustments now take hold in Apple Photos with this setting. Color me surprised, however, that Photos won't take in these settings. Much to learn on my end.
