I recently updated my Affinity Designer app (though I had these issues previous to this) and one of the most frustrating issues I'm having is that when I click on an item on the toolbar (for example file, or edit) when I move my mouse downwards all of the listed items disappear except for the one I hover over-- its like the menu turn invisible when my cursor is on it. Not only that, but I can't access all of the items either. My mouse sort of skips over some of the available options, if that makes sense. Please help!

  • Which Operating System are you using?
  • Which version of Affinity Designer are you using?
  • Do you have the latest graphic drivers?

If you are running Windows can you please check if you have ASUS Sonic / ASUS GPU Tweak III or MSI Nahimic installed as these programs can cause menu elements to disappear, if you have one of these programs install please try the workaround provided in the following FAQ
