Envelope and Extrude Tools in Affinity Designer

Recommended Posts

I have recently made the switch from DrawPlus to Affinity Designer. While AD seems to be a great product, it lacks the tools I frequently used in DrawPlus i.e. Envelope and Extrude (Instant 3D). This makes me wonder why Serif has excluded these two tools for which they already have the code necessary. It does not make sense and renders the product inferior. Even a free software like Inkscape has the Envelope tool.

Is there any chance Serif will include these tolls in future updates? The Blend tool is another one I miss, but I did not use it that frequently.

What a pity.

A Blend Tool was… you get the idea.

Please search for things, as per the forum guidelines, before making new requests.

Serif don’t usually comment on why they haven’t included some particular functionality or whether they have plans to include it in the future.
We have what we have, and we will get what we will get when we get it, if we get it.
