Is it possible to export a document in Publisher with bleed marks?

Recommended Posts

The print shop wants me to use "bleed marks" in addition to trim marks in my document. This seems possible in other programs such as Adobe InDesign.

Unfortunately I can't find this option in Affinity Publisher. Is there any way to activate these?

Thanks :)

If I use these settings I don't get bleed markers. It is only including the bleed margin, not real markers. The only thing I get are the trim markers. I exported a test file in another program to show what I mean with bleed markings (picture).

There are four markings: Two for the trim and two for the end of the bleed.

I don't know if "bleed marking" is the right term in english. It's called "Anschnittsmarken" in german.

There are no Bleed marks. And to be honest I have never heard of any printer wanting/needing them. I cannot think what I would have used them for back in the day. They seem utterly superfluous.

Mac Pro (Late 2013) Mac OS 12.7.6
Affinity Designer 2.5.5 | Affinity Photo 2.5.5 | Affinity Publisher 2.5.5 | Beta versions as they appear.

I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.
