Lukas.S
I got a pdf document from my teacher. When I open it in Affinity, the layout is kind of weird and different. But when I open the same document in Chrome or any other pdf program, it is normal. Thanks in advance

Alternatively you can place the PDF to preserve its layout. Happilyinneedofhelp
I have had similar issues with the odd font change happening and now bullet points aren't showing that do if opened elsewhere

As mentioned above, if you Open a PDF then the Affinity application needs to make it editable. That means you need to have all the fonts installed, as the Affinity apps, unlike some others, cannot make use of the embedded fonts within the PDF. Perhaps you don't have all the fonts installed on your machine? PixelEngineer
Regarding Lukas.S post. If all you need to do is read and print documents sent by your teacher, the best solution in this case is to read, print or save the document from your browser or a dedicated pdf reader designed for that sole purpose. If that was all you wanted to of course.
