iconoclast Posted May 30, 2022 Share Posted May 30, 2022 As an alternative you can use IrfanView (Freeware). At least on Windows. It has an option to keep its image viewer window always on top. I sometimes used it as reference window when I painted with MyPaint. But most times I paint with ArtRage which has its own reference panel. Or even more than one if you need it. They propose a price to appeal to your good conscience to pay at least a bit. Otherwise most people don't pay anything, even because many people can't assess what might be an appropriate price..
