PODlife Posted May 28, 2022 Posted May 28, 2022 When i export as printable PDF, my font doesn´t get done the right way. If exported as PDF digital (high quality), i don´t have any problem, but i need my design as printable PDF. So where does that problem occur? MFA Design 2 (DE).pdf
Old Bruce Posted May 28, 2022 Posted May 28, 2022 What is the font supposed to be? Some don't have the proper glyphs. Some have difficulty with ligatures. To be of more help we would need to see the Export Settings and perhaps the document which produced that PDF file. PODlife 1 Mac Pro (Late 2013) Mac OS 12.7.6 Affinity Designer 2.6.0 | Affinity Photo 2.6.0 | Affinity Publisher 2.6.0 | Beta versions as they appear. I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.

When exporting, click the More button and scroll down to the bottom and don't leave Subset checked. Seeing the designer file would likely help, but even the pdf type that doesn't error would work. 57 minutes ago, Old Bruce said: What is the font supposed to be? Some don't have the proper glyphs. Well, the font is called Bubblegum Sans. I attached my export settings to this reply. But i don´t understand what you mean by - document which produced that PDF file.

In my export settings i can see that the font is already fully embedded. I uploaded screenshots of my export settings, so that may help to understand my problem better.

It might be helpful if you could upload the original ADesigner file, rather than the PDF. MikeW Posted May 31, 2022 Posted May 31, 2022 In your screen shot see the checkbox for Subset? Uncheck it and try again.
PODlife Posted June 2, 2022 Author Posted June 2, 2022 Alright,i got the solution out of nowhere. Just played with the settings and something worked. So the only change i had to do is choose "text as curves" for embedded fonts. I´ll leave a screenshot of the whole settings here. Thanks to all of you for your time! Export Settings.pdf
