I developed and exported the attached RAW file (from a Fuji X-T3), and the end result has some strange horizontal white lines in it. I'm not sure whether this happened when developing or exporting, but I only noticed them when loading the JPEG so I suspect it was the latter.

This actually happened to 3-4 photos but this one is the most pronounced.

The first thing to try is to switch off (untick) Hardware Acceleration in Edit > Preferences > Performance (if currently enabled)

To save time I am currently using an automated AI to reply to some posts on this forum. If any of "my" posts are wrong or appear to be total b*ll*cks they are the ones generated by the AI. If correct they were probably mine. I apologise for any mistakes made by my AI - I'm sure it will improve with time.

Yeah it's enabled. Is this a bug then or an indication that my GPU might be bad? FWIW it's a RTX3050Ti Laptop GPU (Dell XPS15).

Pretty much just a bug.

Mac Pro (Late 2013) Mac OS 12.7.6
Affinity Designer 2.6.0 | Affinity Photo 2.6.0 | Affinity Publisher 2.6.0 | Beta versions as they appear.

I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.

You could try making sure your graphic card is using the latest drivers but other than that it's a known bug of which they are aware and working on

Hi, I have the same problem with my RAW files (Nikon D7000) and disabling hardware acceleration seems to avoid the generation of these artefacts, but that should not be the solution (

 )

Since it's still there in Affinity Photo 2.x, how can we submit a bug report to the developers?

NOTES:

  • In my case, white lines are present in ALL the JPEG files created by exporting RAW files, and they are many more and longer than those shown above.
  • The user above has an RTX, I use an embedded Intel video card (i5 14600K) with the latest video drivers.
