Recommended Posts

Issue: using Designer version 1.10.5.1342 with above DELL 7810 there is an issue in rendering on screen basic vector graphic where the issue is relating to how image is displayed, pixelated and with delays whilst rotating, sizing (modifying).

Video is uploaded.

Thanks

Hi,

temporary (split second) rendering artifacts are “by design” and no bug.

To achieve a snappy user experience, Affinity uses Mip maps, and draws in lower resolution before finally drawing the last pass in full resolution (when required).

Looking at your video I would say that's not normal

As a first step, in narrowing down the problem...

in Preferences try switching off Hardware Acceleration and switch View Quality: to Nearest Neighbour to see if that makes any difference
