I import a RAW photo, make my edits, and develop it then can do whatever I want with the image. Is it possible to develop the RAW image again, leaving off with the settings I used?

No, APhoto does not use sidecar file yet. However, you can create presets for individual adjustments and settings, and then reuse them.

So sidecar files are planning on being added? Is there a rough expected timeframe for that?

Not sure how you have come to the conclusion that sidecar files are planned for inclusion. There are now no sidecar files. Assume there won't be. However I could be wrong.

Follow this thread for announcements about new versions.

Mac Pro (Late 2013) Mac OS 12.7.6
Affinity Designer 2.6.0 | Affinity Photo 2.6.0 | Affinity Publisher 2.6.0 | Beta versions as they appear.

I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.

I'm new to Affinity Photo (though I have been happily using Designer and Publisher for years). Being a long-term Adobe Camera Raw user, where readjustments to a RAW file are easily made just by reopening the file, I am horrified to find out this is not possible with Affinity Photo - I thought I was doing something wrong. Not only is the afphoto file over three times the size of the RAW, it seems the adjustments are baked in to the file too. I thought the whole point of RAW files is that they can be adjusted non-destructively using a tiny but effective xmp file.

For me, it makes Affinity Photo unusable, I am really disappointed!
