Editable PDFs

Does anyone know if editable PDFs using Affinity Publisher is ever likely to happen? I've been holding out, but how many more years do I hold out???? I don't need to create editable PDFs often, but often enough that if its never going to happen with Affinity, then I'll spend my money on something I don't have to wait any longer for. A heads up would be great - there appears to be a no answer policy to this question which is really frustrating.

Interactive PDFs are something we would like to add support for however we unfortunately don't have a time frame for this. If your work is time sensitive I would look into perhaps purchasing an app that can create interactive PDFs.

Thanks for responding. I couldn't find a response on other threads so hopefully other people with the same wish will see this and know not to hold out any hope.
