Where is Affinity Designer?  Yesterday I purchased and supposedly downloaded Affinity Designer to my new iMac.  But it is nowhere to be found on my computer.  Where do I find it?  I've searched all the application, download, etc. folders and it is not there.  Is this a bogus deal and scam or what?

Hi @Cliff Hamilton,

Welcome to the Affinity Forums :)

I'm certainly sorry to hear you're having trouble - I can see you've purchased Affinity Designer directly from the Affinity Store, which means the application will have downloaded as a '.DMG ' file, which needs to be installed correctly in order for the Affinity app to show in your Applications folder etc.

Firstly, please navigate to Downloads and try to locate the Affinity Designer .DMG file. If you're unable to find this, please use the below link to download the latest version:

https://store.serif.com/update/macos/designer/1/

Once you have downloaded/located the .DMG file, please follow the below link to a previous post here on the forums, where my colleague covers the Mac install process, complete with a GIF -

Installing in this manner should mean that Affinity Designer is found within your Applications folder / Launchpad and will be retained here after restarting/shutting down your Mac.

We have over 1 million Affinity users on 3 different platforms and regularly are featured on creative/software websites, so I'm not sure what would lead you to believe this.

I hope this helps!
