Mey Posted May 22, 2022 Posted May 22, 2022 hello! I would really like to be able to wrap text by using templates similarly to photoshop. it is quicker and easier to click a drop down menu, select a form, and then adjust as necessary. please and thank you! Quote
GarryP Posted May 22, 2022 Posted May 22, 2022 For those of us who are not Photoshop users, would you be able to explain what you mean by “wrap text by using templates similarly to photoshop” please? If you can point us towards a tutorial, and tell us which bit(s) of the tutorial gives us a good idea of what you mean, then that would be useful. Quote
Mey Posted May 22, 2022 Author Posted May 22, 2022 also, when creating curved text; if i may suggest to please also consider short cuts (like this one) where we can select to curve text in its entirety, instead of having to draw a circle and do that workaround. it requires more steps and its my opinion that it is a bit of an inconvenience as it can be much simpler. thanks. GarryP Posted May 22, 2022 Posted May 22, 2022 Thanks for the screen-grab. I think what you are asking for there is Text Warp rather than Text Wrap and they are different things: Text Warp – changing the shape of the text; Text Wrap – making text go around another shape. Text warping and other warping have been requested many times. Try searching the forums for vector warp or text warp (make sure you get the “a” and “r” the correct way round) to see the many other requests. Quote
