2022 Affinity Photo Contact Sheet update?

Recommended Posts

Has there been an update and a contact sheet feature been added to Affinity Photo in 2022? I switched from Adobe products and am not looking for a workaround. Adobe does not support my sony raw files and it is not a valid option in any case. For a photographer being able to create contact sheets is rather important for the overall workflow working with clients.

Thanks

No contact sheet feature has appeared yet, I use third party DAM software for contact sheet generation, There are quite a few out there and I know XnViewMP and irfran view can produce them.

Blame your cat, also both of you missed the space after View.

XnView (space) MP.

XnView is the name of the application and MP is the 'version'. I am just guessing.

XnView Classic is Windows-only and MP is the Multi-Platform version. I am just guessing.

APhoto is a photo editor whose primary function is to process and edit individual photos. Making contact sheet, ie processing several photos at the same time, is more a matter of DAM. So I wouldn't be surprised if this feature wasn't added to APhoto.

When writing was first developed word spaces were nonexistent. Still nonexistent for some present day scripts/languages. And if you think about it, punctuation is never spoken; so how do we wind up with rules for that too.

Hmmm.  Bet I'm not the only one that instantly thought of this skit!  😁  (With apologies to the original poster for continuing down this unrelated rabbit hole!)

Nope! - You've to use some other third party tools and/or workarounds for those purposes.

Maybe ...

☛ Affinity Designer 1.10.8 ◆ Affinity Photo 1.10.8 ◆ Affinity Publisher 1.10.8 ◆ OSX El Capitan
☛ Affinity V2.3 apps ◆ MacOS Sonoma 14.2 ◆ iPad OS 17.2

Well, uhm, it's like, y'know, like "WOW!"

Maybe it's just me, but I constantly hear punctuation in spoken language.

But it changes over time. It's recently changed from "air quotes" to using, like, "My friend said," like, "she was so mad!" like, "As if I cared!"
