Alan Preece
I need a double page spread but every time I set up the document of about 16 pages I get a single page on the right. This I assume is for the cover, however the cover will be done in designer and will also be a double page. Any help will be greatly appreciated as I am on a steep learning curve (and a bit clueless)

Old Bruce
If you start on the left there may be problems with page numbers. You are still going to need a page in the Document to hold the Designer document. Leave the single page blank, that way you will have the traditional odd numbered pages on the righthand side of the publication. Komatös
@Alan Preece If you setup your page layout make a master page that holds front and back cover. Link the first and the last page with the Cover Master page I've attached a demo document so you can see how it works. Alan Preece
Hi All Many thanks for the replies, As I said steep learning curve. To be truthful I thought that starting on the left would just give me an orphaned page on the opposite side. I feel a bit of a muppet, so again thanks to those who replied
