allenbham
Hi y'all -- I am trying to do in Affinity what I used to do in Photoshop using a "Photo Edges" filter -- to reduce and simplify an image into a set number of colors, in flat areas, in a way sort of like the Obama "Hope" poster but usually not in patriotic colors. Is there a filter like this under a different name in Affinity?I'm sorry to ask for a translation -- with software as complex as both Photoshop and Affinity, it's quite a learning curve. anon1
I think the posterise filter will do the job. And crabtrem has published an advanced workflow as well which involved the detect edges filter to enhance the outlines...
allenbham
Oh that was a really dumb question, sorry. And thank you. anon1
FRAKnoise
that is only the reducing of the amount of colours, not the edge detecting (which gives you these nice lines. And the separate edge detecting of Affinity also doesn't do the job quitte right. Unfortunatly.
